For Participants

We are looking for volunteers to participate in a neuroscience study investigating how the brain processes smells and visual food cues. In this study, participants will view fruit images, smell different scents, and rate how pleasant they feel while we record brain activity using safe, non-invasive sensors (EEG, facial muscle activity, and skin conductance).

The study consists of two sessions (each up to 2.5 hours) and takes place at Medical Valley Center in Erlangen. Participants can receive up to 70 € compensation or 5 VP hours (FAU students).

Eligible participants are 18–50 years old, fluent in English, with normal vision and sense of smell and without neurological or psychiatric conditions. Interested? Contact us on olfaction_vision_eeg@proton.me or scan a qr code on the flyer.
